Our Pastor

Rev. Joseph Riedman was born on February 20, 1929. He was raised in Connersville, Indiana, attending St. Gabriel Elementary and Connersville Senior High. He then attended St. Meinrad College and the Catholic University School of Theology.

Father Riedman was ordained on May 3, 1956, and went on to serve in several church and school positions. He was assistant pastor at Holy Angels Church in Indianapolis from 1956-1960 and on the Scecina High School faculty until 1973. He then served as pastor at St. Michael's Church in Greenfield from 1973-1980 and of Our Lady of Greenwood from 1980-1993. He has been our pastor at Holy Spirit Church since 1993, only our fourth pastor since the church was founded in 1946.
